On our first day in the Faroe Islands, we visited the charming village of Vidareidi, the northernmost settlement on the island of Viðoy within the Norðoyar Region.
A brief trek in the surrounding mountains led us to an ideal vantage point to capture the awe-inspiring view over the fjord and the majestic snowy peaks. As the sun rose, it revealed a breathtaking spectacle, with its golden rays slowly ascending behind the iconic pyramid-shaped mountain. The sky transformed into a vibrant canvas, awash in light and colour.
